dasher driver app/ deactivation
I was having numerous issues with the app since the last update. My ratings have been up to standards. When I did the new update I started having issues with accepting orders, completing them, or the orders coming through on a text message but not on the app. I went to the doordash website to follow the trouble shooting steps. Tried to dash again same issues. I had to call 3 times to confirm the delivery drop off. I than called doordash to explain the issue and my ratings are dropping. While on hold they deactivate my account. I have sent proof to them. Called numerous times. How can we be held accountable for keeping are ratings at standards if the app is malfunctioning. I have been trying to get this resolved the past 4 days and not one person has responded to my issue. This is unacceptable. How can you solve a problem with no communication. My daughter has even seen what the app does. But still I get ignored and no response. When I did everything properly according to the website help site.

I ordered a $150 + celebratory dinner to celebrate my release from the hospital invited my girlfriend over after I've been in several months recovering from pneumonia and ordered what I thought would be a great dinner for Black Angus it was surf and turf prime rib and lobster and boy what a disappointment the order was poorly cooked over it was overcooked Lobster was okay didn't deliver the desert that we paid for didn't bring any chance allows didn't bring any plates it was late and delivery and didn't bring the au jus sauce for the prime rib which was a major faux pas I mean that ruined it right there then we had like two like lava cakes there was supposed to have ice cream with them no such luck that was half of the you know of the taste of the so that was completely botched drinks were melted order arriving late and what makes it worse and what makes this totally unacceptable and it's going to drive me to use ubereats from now on so these guys so I use a lot I was a good customer response response that said thank you for your input and will we're looking for ways to improve our service or some crap like that I spent $150 dinner I would expect it to be done right and if it wasn't I would expect you guys to stand behind your customer but you didn't that's embarrassing and a customer service terrible terrible

Used to use you quite a bit. Now it seems almost impossible to look for a job. You need to rid yourself of the ridiculousness of companies such as the ones I will list below.

I am a driver for Door Dash. Earlier this evening, I had received a pick up order that was to be picked up by 6:45 pm. I had arrived at 6:35 pm. Store located at 3130 Plainfield Rd. in Joliet, Illinois.
Upon arrival, I had tripped over the sidewalk into the store. It caused me to scrape my hands on leg as well as bruise my elbow down to my forearm and bang my head on the wall near the entrance. I'm okay, but bruised.
When approaching the counter, I did inform the young man helping me. He informed the manager. She offered me some ice, in which she never gave me, and informed me the order would be ready in a moment.
There was no lines, so aside from a couple customers inside eating and one car in drive-thru, it wasn't busy. She gave me the two drink cups from the order, in which I attempted to fill. One of the soda flavors ordered was not available.
I went back to the counter, thinking the customer's order should have been ready as it was only 5 items. It wasn't, so I continued to wait.
It began to get busy in the drive-thru. I must've seen the cashier pack about 8 different bags and get a missed sandwich made fresh for a drive-thru customer who came in 5 minutes after I did.
The manager was handling the drive-thru mic. After the 4th order was going out the window, several customers walked in behind me. I heard the manger loudly declare "[censored]" in a very irritated sounding voice.
This was nearly 15 minutes of me waiting, and now 6:50. 5 minutes after the scheduled pick up time for my Door Dash order.
A minute after that, I was finally being handed my customer's order. I had finally got the chance to ask the cashier if he could fill the drink for me due to the machine being out of that flavor. I double checked the accuracy of the order as he filled the drink for me, and the food was lukewarm at best.
I had asked him for a drink holder as well be that I had 2 drinks and a bag to carry out, he gave me a look as though he was annoyed by me requesting it. I did get one. Then he just walked away without asking to assist the other customers waiting in line. They had been there for no less than 5 minutes without anyone acknowledging them.
I didn't want to feel as though I had put any of the employees out by asking for the ice that was offered to me, and was already running behind on my delivery, so I just left.
Now, I understand being short staffed, I only had seen 3 total employees in the store and behind the counter, as well as understand pressure and stress when a rush occurs. I've worked in food service for many years.
But it seemed like everyone behind that counter was in a bad mood and really didn't want to be bothered. And they were completely unorganized as to who was working what areas in order to provide the best possible service to their customers.
I personally had stopped eating at Burger King because the menu prices were getting too high. But now I'm thinking people are nuts for wanting to wait for their orders for longer wait times than McDonald's has.
I was afraid of informing them the food felt as if it's been sitting under the headlamp for several minutes rather than hot and fresh as it should have been based on how long I'd been waiting. That's typical of McDonald's.
Honestly, if I had seen the customer who placed the order I was picking up rather than his son, I probably would have been yelled at for it not getting to him sooner.
Overall, this whole thing could have cost me my tip for delivery and a satisfactory rating from my customer. I shouldn't have to pay for the ignorance and mistakes of your employees. I won't be taking any orders that are placed for Burger King again. And I'd be surprised if the customer I picked up for actually orders from there anytime soon.
We ordered Mc Donald's, spent about 8o dollars and never received the three medium vanilla milkshakes that we paid for. I tried to at least get a credit for this issue and customer services was awful. I even asked for a higher up and they would not give me one.
for some reason the address that came up had the incorrect house #, i did not put the address in , my account address is correct and I have rec'd 4 other deliveries at the correct address.
When I did not get my food I requested a refund , I paid $50., they refunded me 12.00.
The CS cut me off on Chat...
I did not receive my order on 12/30/23 the Dasher stole them and I would like my refund
just want to know why door dash doesnt pay the drivers much? i keep getting lots that door dash only pays 2.00? why not consider gas prices? insurance premiums, etc. thinking of quiting because of door dash wages! and to try to get customer service when there is an issue? not fast at all!
I won't get refund because? .want an answer why when I didn't get my order you are an unfair company . Your drivers have no verbal skills . And you steal money from your customers. And if people order from you again they get what they deserve.

I have made multiple orders through you all and consistently are missing items and being neglected when I complain. I order a fish combo from Checkers within the last 2 hours. 5.99 for delivery...18.22 total I paid. They never brought my drink. Left my food on the ground and denied me any compensation.i am livid and distressed.
Ordered at 11:20a.m on Friday June 30th, order arrived at 1:00p.m. same day

Placed an order with Sephora for same-day delivery. The DOOR DASHER delivered it to the wrong address. I needed these TODAY as my daughter is getting married and I leave tomorrow for the wedding. DOOR DASH DID NOT MAKE THEM RETURN AND DELIVER IT TO THE RIGHT ADDRESS! The make-up artist needed this for the wedding. THEY HAVE RUINED EVERYTHING!
