Dx Delivery / DX Group review: The manner and attitude of a DX Delivery driver of vehicle DF25 VVS

I was cycling along Beck Lane at Sutton in Ashfield on Friday 15 May 2026. At approx. 11.08, I was passed too closely by a DX Delivery vehicle. In my opinion, the gap was dangerously less than the required 1.5 metres at 30mph as stated in the Highway Code. Bigger gap if faster.
As I caught up with the vehicle at the traffic light junction with the A617, the driver found it necessary to “advise” me there was a cycle path on the left hand pavement, implying that I should be on the said path. This can be heard on the attached footage. The Highway Code Rule 61 states that cyclists may exercise their judgement and are not obliged to use cycle paths. I was riding a road bike with tyres and wheels that are suitable for road cycling and not pavements. The driver does not own the road, and his attitude was inappropriate to other road users. . I did advise him that he was too close to me when passing me which can also be heard on the attached footage.
