DPD UK review: Very poor service

I asked for the parcel to be left in the porch as wasn't going to be home, I had a notification to say it had been delivered and left in the porch... however the picture shows it was left outside the porch. When I returned from work the parcel that was an expensive jacket was gone, clearly someone had taken it! I asked for the parcel to be left in the porch due to the value of the jacket. DPD have rejected my complaint on the grounds it was left in a 'safe space' and followed the terms and conditions of their policy. It was not left where I asked it to be! Why ask for a delivery preference i.e leave with neighbour or safe space when they don't. Im so livid with the service received.
