See attached interaction with Grab after their decision to deflect my issues and concern concerns with its driver: Once again, I think Grab had the issue wrong and conflated and apparently didn’t bother to read anything I submitted including my receipt. It doesn’t matter what your policy is as far as delivery drivers opening packages. The fact of the matter is, I ordered an item and the item was NOT included in the delivery. I suspect the restaurant would have packaged a can AW root beer separately in its own plastic bag, which is usually the case when I order a soft drink along with food. I provided you with a copy of the receipt which clearly showed a can of AW root beer which means the restaurant had to have scanned the item and included it along with the other items ordered. Which means, apparently your Grab driver either intentionally left the AW root beer in his little basket instead of delivering it to me or lacked attention to detail. So your mentioning of your policy on Grab drivers not opening & inspecting packages for safety reasons is irrelevant. Why don’t you just ask him to check his basket. Whatever the case there has to be some system of checks and balances in order to make sure I get the items that I ordered otherwise I’m being ripped off. Your driver’s incompetence, lack of attention to detail, rudeness, unprofessionalism is compounded by your unwillingness to address the matter and provide a possible explanation. You consider it a small mishap, simply taken care of by refunding 80 pesos but fail to realize the larger issue that such mishaps add add up and happens too frequently and I suspect was one of the reasons why previously I was forced to escalate matters to LTFRB . Once again, you’re trying to insult my intelligence , and trying to make me accountable for Grab and your driver’s negligence. Good luck with that.
Recommendation: Think twice about using Grab
