I submitted a background check for Fred Meyer on March 17, 2026; it is now May 7, 2026 and at every interaction I have had with them I have been told "it will be done as soon as possible" or "I promise it will be done tomorrow" or "it's nearly complete". I have been informed at every conversation that it is merely waiting on the "Self Disclosure review", for more than 5 weeks. I cannot start employment until this is finished and I can honestly say it feels awful malicious at this point.

Claimed loss: Lost income and currently near loss of housing and livelihood.

Desired outcome: Competently complete the background check so I can work and provide for myself and pay my bills.
