I am writing to formally raise a serious complaint regarding a security failure at the estate after my vehicle was maliciously damaged while parked in the visitors’ parking area.
After discovering the damage, I approached the Estate Manager to ask whether the cameras could confirm when the incident happened and who may have been responsible. I was then informed that there are apparently no cameras focused on that area.
This response is completely unacceptable for a complex advertised and operated as a “24/7 secure estate.”
How is it possible that a section of the estate parking area has no camera coverage whatsoever? This effectively means that anything can happen in that space. Lord forbid that kids don't get pulled into someone's car in that area.
I find this extremely concerning and frankly misleading. If there is no surveillance coverage in key parking areas, then the claim of being a fully secured estate is questionable.
What makes the situation even more frustrating is that when opening a formal case regarding the malicious damage to my vehicle, there will now be no footage available to support the investigation due to this major security oversight.
I would like the following addressed urgently:
1. A formal explanation as to why there is no camera coverage in the visitors’ parking area.
2. Clarification on what security measures are actually in place in these supposedly monitored sections of the estate.
3. Confirmation of what actions will be taken to improve surveillance and resident/visitor safety going forward.
4. A written incident report regarding this matter.
This issue should be treated seriously, as it reflects a major gap in estate security and places residents and visitors at risk.
I expect a formal response as soon as possible.
